Linear planting can be placed as either Avenue Planting, Ornamental Hedge or Native Hedge.

Select Native Hedge from the Type pop-down list to place a less frequently maintained occurrence of a species or mix along a host line, spline or arc.
Hedges are defined by an intended Maintenance Width and Height. Values entered in the Maintenance Width and Height areas, determine the maximum limit of the sizing for hedge components, which will be grown using Age Planting until the maximum maintenance dimensions are reached.
Linear Planting placed as a Native Hedge will result in the display of a randomised plan symbol placed along the host line.
Note that there is an option to define/select a pattern fill to an Ornamental or Native Hedge and the width of the hedge in Plan View is defined generally by the maximum Maintenance Width specified.
Linear Planting placed as a Native Hedge will result in a randomly sized display of components in 3D view along the host line.
Native Hedges are sized as defined by the maximum Maintenance Width specified.
