Palettes

Previous topicNext topic
Palettes are user-defined selections created in the Cloud based CS Web App.

The Palette panel allows users to access the Palette Builder from directly within Artisan. From the Palette panel, users are also able to Download Palettes, Lookup Characteristics, Open the Mixes LibrariesOpen Local Palette Folder, Create Palette from File . The Palette panel includes a persistent list of downloaded palettes and an associated list of palette records (single plants or mixes).

The Plant or Mix selected in the pop-down list boxes, is the record used when placing Labels (Area, Length, Single).

Note that the Palette Builder and Mixes Libraries are also available directly from the CloudScapes website via a web browser along with the CloudScapes searchable Libraries, Custom Plants and Mixes Libraries. The advantage of using a web browser is that users have access to all CloudScapes web tools, rather than having to select individual commands from the Artisan ribbon.

Selecting Login from the CloudScapes website  displays the Sign In window...

New users need to pick the JOIN option to be able to create a personal password to access the CS Web App services. If a user has successfully joined an organisation, the associated email address and password details can be entered to Sign In. [See CS Web App Sign In for details on the procedure to Join].

Picking Create Planting, from the Palette panel displays the Sign In window, where users will also be prompted to Sign In with an authenticated Email address and Password. Note that the Sign In window is only displayed the first time that CS Web App services are being accessed in an Artisan session.
