CS Web App

Purpose

The CS Web App is CloudScapes' centralised cloud platform, providing secure access to shared data, content libraries, project resources, and organisational management tools. Designed to support modern BIM and collaborative design workflows, the CS Web App acts as a single source of truth for landscape information, connecting users, projects, and libraries across the wider CloudScapes ecosystem.

Accessible directly from CS ArtisanRV (Revit), CS ArtisanAC (AutoCAD), and CS ArtisanBC (BricsCAD), or through a standard web browser, the CS Web App provides authenticated access to cloud-based services using a username and password associated with an organisation's account. User access and permissions are managed centrally, with designated Administrators and Main Contacts able to oversee account settings, users, subscriptions, and organisational resources.

At the heart of the CS Web App is a collection of shared libraries and project management tools that enable teams to standardise content, improve data consistency, and streamline collaboration across projects. Users can search extensive online libraries, create project-specific palettes, manage custom content, and access specification resources, ensuring that project information remains coordinated throughout the design lifecycle.

The CS Web App supports BIM-driven workflows by providing centrally managed resources that can be shared across teams, offices, and projects. Rather than maintaining multiple disconnected datasets, organisations can manage approved content in a single location, improving consistency, efficiency, and quality assurance.

Cloud-based services available through the CS Web App include:

  • Account & Profile Management
Manage user accounts, organisation details, permissions, and subscriptions.

  • Online Libraries
Search and access continually maintained libraries of plants, planting mixes, seed mixes, and non-planting objects.

  • National Plant Specification (NPS)
Access specification data and plant-related information to support project documentation and standards compliance.

  • Support & Knowledgebase
Browse technical documentation, help resources, tutorials, and support information.

  • Palette Builder
Create, manage, and share project-specific palettes for plants, mixes, and other design content.

  • Custom Plants
Create and maintain organisation-specific plant records and associated metadata.

  • Mix Libraries
Manage and reuse planting and seed mixes across projects and teams.

Looking ahead, the CS Web App will continue to expand as the central hub for CloudScapes cloud services. A key development planned for 2026 is the reintroduction of the Project Viewer, providing a coordinated graphical and information-rich view of project data synchronised from CS ArtisanRV. This service will enable project teams and stakeholders to access the latest design information through a web-based environment, further supporting collaboration, coordination, and informed decision-making.

Within this section of the Help system, you will learn how to:

  • Sign in and manage your account.
  • Configure organisational users and permissions.
  • Search and manage cloud libraries.
  • Create and maintain project palettes.
  • Add and manage custom plant content.
  • Access specification and knowledgebase resources.
  • Share standardised content across projects and teams.
  • Utilise cloud services to support coordinated BIM workflows.

By centralising organisation, project, and library data within a secure cloud platform, the CS Web App provides the foundation for a connected, collaborative, and information-driven landscape design workflow.

Usage

The CS Web App provides Cloud-based services that are integrated directly via CS ArtisanAC (AutoCAD), CS ArtisanRV (Revit) and CS ArtisanBC (BricsCAD) applications or accesible as discrete services via a web browser.

Access to the CS Web App is controlled via an authenticated username and password associated to an existing organisation’s account. User details are recorded in a Contacts table accessible to an organisation’s designated Main Contact &/or Administrator.
