The Standard Tag Type will create a label based on the Template selected from the associated pop down list. Templates use a combination of parameters from the planting families (identified within brackets) and free text.
The default template %Quantity%nr %PlantName% displays a calculated plant count, with a "nr" suffix followed by the full botanical plant name. Below are examples of the Standard Tag option for Singular, Linear and Area planting. The singular plant (top left) is displaying a plant abbreviation after the calculated plant count (template: %Quantity%nr %Abb%); the linear (hedge) planting (top right) includes an Area/Length prefix; the area planting (bottom) shows a planting mix with all components displayed as a full botanical name following the calculated plant count and the Area/Length prefix has not been selected.
The example below shows this standard template applied to a planting mix with the "Show Unit Prefix" option selected. Individual components of the mix follow the syntax of calculated plant count, with a "nr" suffix followed by the full botanical plant name.
Users are able to create their own preferred labels that can be added to the selectable Templates.
Select the Browse option (...) to the right of the Template pop-down menu, to display the Tagging Options dialog...
The Tagging Options dialog enables users to define new label Templates using a combination of free text and predefined properties (parameters).
Drag from the list of Available Properties to the edit box where they will be surrounded with % markers. Add free text entries as required and pick Validate to test new template.
