The display of Plan and Elevational Symbol Types is controlled via the Symbology toggles using the Graphic Visibility tools and which modifications are applied only to the Active View.
While intended predominantly for elevational or sectional views, symbology can be effectively used in 3D views.
Using the Graphic Visibility tools, users are in full control to switch between any of the model views Primitive, Voxel, RPC or Symbology.
