Purpose
Use Terrain Tools to create, edit, analyse, and coordinate
terrain surfaces within a Revit project. Terrain modelling supports landscape
design, grading studies, planting design, earthworks coordination,
visualisation, and documentation.
Terrain Tools enable designers to work with existing and
proposed landforms while maintaining coordination with planting, hardscape,
drainage, and site infrastructure.
Prerequisites
Before using Terrain Tools:
- The project survey information has been
established.
- Site coordinates and project units have been

- Existing terrain data has been imported or
created.
