that are associated with existing Revit elements such as Floors, Filled Regions,
Topography, or other site geometry. Overlay Regions provide a flexible method
for applying planting, groundcover, seed mixes, and landscape information to
existing design elements while maintaining BIM coordination and schedule
reporting.
Overlay Regions are particularly useful when planting areas
need to follow existing site geometry without creating additional model
elements.

Before creating an Overlay Region:
