Place Major and Minor Contours

Users are able to dynamically create Contours from selected Levels. Major and Minor Contours are created with defined intervals, starting elevations, layers and line styles. Contours can be easily annotated with height labels.

A triangulated mesh is created from the selected level points from which contours are calculated.

Major Contour

The Measurement Units are auto detected and displayed in the dialog with the default interval value set accordingly.

Define the required interval for Major Contours.

If contours are required through a specific level, enter an appropriate value in the Passing through elevation text box.

Select a layer from the drop down list of layers in the current drawing.

Select a line style for the Major Contour (default is Continuous ).

Minor Contour

If interim contours are required in addition to the Major Contours defined, select the Include minor contours? option.

Define the required interval for Minor Contours. Note this value should be less than the interval defined for Major Contours.

Select a layer from the drop down list.

Select a line style for the Minor Contour (default is Dashed ).

After setting details for Major and Minor Contours, pick Create Contours .
