Create Area Pad
Pick Area Pad from the Terrain panel and select a Subregion that has been created previously to depict the intended new area.
The Subregion command is available from the Revit Native Tools panel.
Multiple Subregions can be selected if required. Pick Finish to confirm selection.
The Create Area Pad dialog is displayed and shows the underlying Data for the proposed Area Pad including the Average Height of the Selected Region.
Active Topo Surface
Regions are associated with a Topo when they are created and the Active Topo Surface is displayed in the dialog.
Input
Users can define the intended gradient of the Linear Path, the Path Facet Length, Embankment Slope and Path Width in the Input area of the dialog.
Process
Pick Process to Create Linear Path using settings defined under the Input area and using Floor or Plan Elements as selected.
