as project-specific collections of plants, enabling designers to quickly access
approved planting selections, maintain consistency across projects, and
streamline planting workflows from concept through detailed
design.
Prerequisites
Before creating or managing Planting Palettes:
- Plant content has been added to the organisation's plant
database.
- Appropriate plant selections have been identified for the
project.
- User permissions allow palette creation and
editing.
- Project planting requirements have been
defined.
Phase 1: Create a Planting Palette
1. Create a New Palette
- Open the Palette Manager.
- Select Create New Palette.
- Enter:
- Palette Name
- Description
- Project or Client Reference (if
applicable)
- Save the palette.
Verification: The new palette appears in
the available palette list.
2. Define Palette Structure
Organise the palette according to the project
requirements.
Typical groups include:
- Trees
- Shrubs
