The Drawing ribbon panel provides a collection of drawing utilities designed to simplify the creation of common CAD geometry within Artisan. These tools offer a familiar workflow for AutoCAD and BricsCAD users by providing commands that mirror the most frequently used native drawing functions, including polylines, rectangles, splines, circles, arcs, and offset geometry.
By using the Drawing panel, users can quickly create design elements while maintaining consistency with Artisan's layer and drawing standards. All Artisan drawing commands automatically apply the current Layer, Colour, Weight, Linetype, and Line Scale settings, ensuring that new objects conform to project requirements without additional editing. Certain commands are also influenced by the current Offset and Close settings.
