Palettes are user-defined selections of plants that are created and managed as a centralised resource in an organisation's online account. Frequently, palettes will be created for specific projects and can be shared externally by outputting to standard file formats. Palettes can contain both planting and non-planting records, but it is recommended that separate palettes are used to differentiate between planting and non-planting and indeed between single planting species and planting mixes as indicated below.
