Landscape projects should be geographically located so that Existing Trees can be aligned automatically using Easting and Northing coordinates used in the tree survey. If the project has been geographicaly aligned to the Easting and Northing coordinates in the Existing Tree Survey, select the associated radio button.
Note that the system will report where there is an apparent discrepancy between the average Eastings and Northings in the survey and the Project coordinates.
In such circumstances, users should check the Eastings and Northing values in the source survey and the Project Base Point coordinates.
An option is available for users to manually place an Existing Tree at a known location with other Existing Trees placed relative to this position if the project has not been goegraphically located. Select this option and enter the Reference number of the Datum Tree and rotation angle to manually place Existing Trees.
