Purpose
Use Concept Planting to create early-stage planting
proposals using simple graphical representations and descriptions. Concept
Planting is intended for design development, visual studies, and preliminary
quantification before detailed species selection.
Create Concept Planting

Open
Create Concept Planting from the Planting panel.

Select
the required planting type:
- Singular
Planting
for specimens or clumps.
- Linear
Planting for
hedges and avenues.
- Area
Planting for
beds, woodland, and mass planting areas.

Enter
a Description
to define the planting intent. The Description is the primary information
recorded for Concept Planting.

Optionally
add:

Configure
the graphical appearance:
- Shade
- Alpha Brightness
- Sizing and density options where applicable

Place
the Concept Planting:
- Pick points for Singular Planting.
- Pick lines for Linear Planting.
- Pick areas, regions, floors, or topos for Area
Planting.
Result
Concept Planting creates a graphical representation of
planting intent together with associated schedule information for early-stage
quantification and budgeting.
Notes
- Concept Planting
does not require a Project Palette.
- Plant species selection is not required at this stage.
- Project Palettes are used later as part of the Detailed
Planting workflow.
