Command

Edit Planting is available from the Planting panel. The intelligent Edit Planting command supports Concept Planting and Detail Planting and automatically detects singlelinear and area planting as single species or mixes and whether Overlay or Underlay Planting exists.

Further separate editing options are available to multi select single, split area plantingdrop connections on singular and to convert linear to singular planting.


Purpose

To edit planting objects placed in the model. For the most part, Edit Planting is delivered via a single dynamic button that automatically detects whether users are selecting Concept or Detail Planting, as Area, Linear or Singular planting and whether overlay or underlay planting exists and displays the associated dialog and underlying information.

There are also options to enable multiple single items to be selected, to drop connections on singular planting and to convert linear planting to singular. The Split Area Planting tool is available for both Concept Planting and Detailed Planting .

From the Edit Planting utility, users can substitute planting, change planting specification information, planting centres values and location information.


 Usage

Pick the Edit Planting button and select any concept or detail planting content in the model.

To select other Edit Planting options, pick the down-arrow next to the Edit Planting button.
